My name is Milton Mermikides
On 22nd November 2004, I was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia.
I decided then and there that I was going to fight this disease with reality & science. The idea of documenting and sharing my experience via a website quickly evolved. Thus, exactly three weeks after my diagnosis, MiltCentral.com was born!
It is coming up to 7 years since my diagnosis- a length of time I was unlikely to witness- and am feeling great, and enjoy a wonderful, bizarre & healthy life.
I would like to share my story here in the hope that it inspires those with leukaemia, their carers and those facing life-threatening challenges in their lives.
